Quick Overview of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies
Sep-17-2015 6:11 UTC
For starters, a printed board circuit, often referred by the acronym PCB, is designed to mechanically support and electrically connect various electronic components by using various features such as pads and tracks that have been carefully etched out of laminated sheets of copper onto some type of substrate that is non-conductive. Overview of Electronic Cable Assemblies
Sep-09-2015 6:12 UTC
In simple terms, electronic cable assemblies are designed as different types of interconnect solutions for a wide range of applications and industries. These assemblies are often referred by several different things to include a wiring assembly, cable harness, wire harness, and more but overall, this consists of a grouping of wires or cables used to...   Read more »
What are Electronic Military Assemblies
Aug-20-2015 6:12 UTC
Electronic military assemblies are used for military hardware. Compared to commercial requirements, these assemblies often go through more intense field conditions. Due to the harsh environments subjected to, the assemblies must be designed and built to surpass what typical assemblies can do. Field conditions are usually difficult and to accommodate, the assemblies have to meet...   Read more »
Learning about Surface Mount Assemblies
Jul-27-2015 6:15 UTC
In order for surface mount contract manufacturing , a special method known as surface mount technology or SMT is used. With this, electronic circuits are produced whereby the components are mounted onto the surface of the printed circuit board directly. Once complete, the device becomes known as a surface mount device or SMD. (more…)   Read more »
Introduction to Surface Mount Contract Manufacturing
Jul-10-2015 6:16 UTC
Typically, products of surface mount contract manufacturing are smaller and more affordable, making them a more popular choice over the through-hole method. The three-hole method is actually quite old and with this, larger circuit boards with drilled holes are needed where in comparison using the surface mounted method, solder and two-in-one glue are used that...   Read more »
